Configure VirtualBox

Install it with:

# pacman -S virtualbox qt

Add user bp to the vboxusers group:

# gpasswd -a bp vboxusers

Load kernel module at boot:

# tee /etc/modules-load.d/virtualbox.conf <<< "vboxdrv"

Configure sudo

Install with:

# pacman -S sudo

Allow user bp to use sudo

Add the following line in section "User privilege specification:


Use Vim as default editor for visudo

Add the following lines to /etc/sudoers:

# Reset environment by default
Defaults      env_reset
# Set default EDITOR to vim, and do not allow visudo to use EDITOR/VISUAL.
Defaults      editor="/usr/bin/vim -p -X", !env_editor

Remove the space between two inline-block elements

Using display: inline-block in your CSS file will leave a space between your elements. Here is a trick to avoid this:

        <li><a href="#">Page1</a></li><!--
     --><li><a href="#">Page2</a></li><!--
     --><li><a href="#">Page3</a></li><!--
     --><li><a href="#">Page4</a></li>

We add a blank comment between </li> and <li> to "fill" the space.

Belgian keyboard in X11

Create a 10-keyboard.conf file in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/ and add the following lines:

Section "InputClass"
    Identifier          "Keyboard Defaults"
    MatchIsKeyboard     "yes"
    Option              "XkbLayout" "be(azerty)"
